PROJECT:
Civil War breaks out in Sierra Leone between a corrupt military and brutal rebellion known as RUF, forcing local chiefs to call upon village warriors to keep their people safe. These Kamajors force an initiation process for new members, saying they get chewed up by Satan and vomited out a man.
With the war coming to an end, hundreds of thousands are dead and orphans roam the streets. Secret societies are a normal part of life in the villages and many suffer.
Francis Rogers quits his job in the capitol city to come to the aid of these hurting men, women, and children, and faces the secret societies head on, attempting to better Sierra Leone. This is his story.
